Results List
The Results List displays records or results that match your search criteria from
Quick Search or Advanced Search.
To view the Results List, press the Results List tab. This tab displays only
after a successful search along with the Collection Results
tab.
1. The number of records displayed per Results List page is determined by the
number you set when you did your Quick or Advanced search.
- The default is 20 records. The maximum is 50 records.
- The more records you select, the more you will scroll. However you will not have
to display as many individual pages using the 'Next' link.
- You can only change the display number when you search. Once you do a search,
records display with the number you set.
2. You can review your search results in a merged Results List for all search
results.
- Press the Show All icon on the top right of the Collection Results
3. You can review your search results in individual Results Lists by Series.
- Click the results number linked to series to view an individual list
for records in that series
- To display results from other series,
- Press the Collection Results tab to return to summary search results, and click
on the next results number.
Record Elements Displayed in the Results List
- First Line (bold and underlined) -- ID Number, Author, Title,
Publication year
- Second Line (smaller font) -- Item Type; Subject Heading
- Third Line -- Database Source (from Index Catalogue Series #)
Navigating in Results List
As you scroll through your results, navigation links will display to help you
browse the Results List.
1. Next and Previous appear, where appropriate to guide you through succeeding/preceeding
pages.
2. When Next or Previous does not exist you will see ... instead of the Next or Previous.
This indicates either the top or end of the list.
