ID Number Search in Advanced Search
Each IndexCat record was assigned an unique ID Number during conversion
of the item from the printed Index Catalogue. Originally designed
to assist quality control, the ID Number continues to be useful because of
the intelligence in its structure.
You can use the ID Number to:
1. Retrieve a single citation from IndexCat
2. Check the online citation against the printed Index Catalogue
- The ID number guides you to the correct Index Catalogue
